Helicopter crashes in Krasnodar Territory

The pilot died. Preliminary information says that the helicopter flew
only 300 meters before falling.
The helicopter was purchased by an individual two weeks ago. It was in
bad condition. It did not receive permission for operation.
The Mi-2 is a multi-purpose Soviet helicopter developed in the early
1960s. Serial production started in Poland in 1965. Over 5400 such
helicopters had been built by 1992.
Yugopolis says that over 2,000 such helicopters still operate in
Russia. The last accident with an Mi-2 happened in Krasnodar Territory
on 18 June 2011.
