Iran encourages tourists with free visa for World Cup spectators

Iran’s government agreed to offer free visas to the 2022 Qatar World Cup spectators to visit Iran, government spokesman said on Wednesday, according to IRNA.

Ali Bahadori Jahromi wrote in a tweet that President Ebrahim Raisi’s cabinet has agreed to grant World Cup 2022 spectators who wish to visit Iran a visa free of charge.

The enactment could encourage the tourists who travel to Qatar to watch World Cup games to visit Iran and help Iran’s tourism flourish.
