Russia lifts restrictions on import of fruits, vegetables from Turkey
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaRospotrebnadzor announced the lifting of restrictions on the import of peppers, pomegranates, grapes, oranges and grapefruits from Turkey.
"Based on the results of a thorough study with the Turkish side of the issues of ensuring the supply of high-quality and safe fruit and vegetable products to the Russian market, Rospotrebnadzor decided to lift restrictions on the import of peppers, pomegranates, grapes, oranges and grapefruits produced in the Republic of Turkey into Russia," the statement reads.
According to the results of the inspection, no excess of the maximum permissible levels of harmful substances was found.
