Restriction on electricity supply lifted in Abkhazia

The restrictions on the supply of electricity in Abkhazia, which were in place due to energy shortages, were lifted.

The restriction was introduced in autumn. Electricity was turned off throughout the country twice a day for one hour.

"Due to the load decrease in the power grids, restrictions on the supply of electricity throughout the territory of Abkhazia have been lifted. However, with an increase in loads, the likelihood of further restrictions is not excluded," the press service of Chernomorenergo reported on Saturday.
