Wearing masks indoors no longer necessary in Israel

From 20:00 Moscow time, the requirement for mandatory masks in enclosed spaces, which has been in force since April 2020, has become invalid in Israel, The Times of Israel writes.

The corresponding decision of the authorities became known on April 20. It was adopted by Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Minister of Health Nitzan Horowitz due to the incidence of covid decrease, TASS reports.

Masks remain mandatory in high-risk areas, including "hospitals, nursing homes, maternity hospitals, flights".

In addition, those who go to the place of quarantine are obliged to use them.
