Steppe is on fire near aircraft crash site in Astrakhan

Steppe is burning over a large area around the crash site of the military aircraft in the Akhtuba district of the Astrakhan region, RIA Novosti reports with reference to one of the locals.
 
The MiG-29 crashed on Thursday evening 43 kilometers from the town of Akhtubinsk, the pilot and navigator died.

The Emergency Services are currently approaching the site.
