Putin demands not to repeat last year's mistakes with forest fires

At a meeting with the acting head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and heads of regions, Russian President Vladimir Putin demanded not to repeat the mistakes made during the forest fires last year.

”The last year situation, when forest fires continued the longest and were the most intense over the past few years, must not be allowed. We need to radically change the situation where it is, of course, necessary," Putin said.
