Hanami in Moscow (photo gallery)

Recently, it has become possible to observe the Japanese tradition of admiring sakura - hanami or o-hanami - in Moscow. If in Japan the symbol of the country, prosperity and female beauty blooms at the end of March, in Moscow it happens already in May. In 2010, a sakura grove was laid in the Biryulevsky arboretum, where now Muscovites come to admire the bloom almost in Japanese style - with trembling and bated breath.
