Iran arrests Aras Free Trade Zone managing director

Aras Free Trade Zone managing director Alireza Moghimi was arrested, Trend reports. He is charged with corruption, Iran's East Azerbaijan Province Justice Department head Malek Ajdar said.

Moghimi is Ahmadinejad’s another ally arrested since last week.

Head of the Iranian Ervend Free Trade Zone Ali Asgar Perhizkar was arrested in Iran, the Fars news agency reported.

According to the report, Perhizkar is close with the former head of the presidential administration, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Office Esfandiyar Rahim Mashaei .

The former Deputy Foreign Minister for Administrative and Financial Affairs Mohammad Sharif Malekzadeh was arrested on June 23.
