Uzbekistan to hold International Ethnosport Festival

In 2023, a new annual Uzbekistan Ethno Games festival will be held in Tashkent. The country's authorities intend to popularize ethnosport. The measures for its development were determined by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The program for the promotion and development of ethnosports until 2025 includes involvement of the population in ethnosports, holding folk games and competitions in mahallas, strengthening cooperation with the World Ethnosport Confederation and expanding international relations in this direction.
