Georgia, US agree on joint exploitation of Batumi port

Adjara Premier Levan Varshalomidze and vice-president of the American

company "Royal karibian" John Tersek have signed a memorandum, which

will become the basis for the development of the Batumi port, Business

Georgia reports.

 

After the project is competed the port will be able to accept large

cruise ships.

 

According to John Tersek, the American company is attracted by the

tourist potential of the city.
