Sochi to get high-speed interceptor boats during Olympics

The maritime Coast Guard services of Sochi will be strengthened by high-speed interceptor boats during the Olympic Games 2014, the Public Council on preparations for the Olympics reported today, Yuga.ru informs.

The maritime security units in Sochi will be able to meet the challenges of reliable protection of the Olympic facilities from the sea and prevent unauthorized approaches to the coast. The units will be equipped with modern technical equipment of border protection designed and manufactured in Russia.
