Istanbul stock exchange sets historic record

According to trading data, the Istanbul Stock Exchange, Borsa İstanbul, closed on Thursday with the BIST100 at 2601.56.

The stock market rose by 32.80 points (1.28%).

The volume of operations amounted to almost $ 2.5 billion - 40.9 billion Turkish liras. This is a record high figure for the entire period of the exchange, TASS reports.
