US disappointed with Nagorno-Karabakh meeting in Kazan

The USA is disappointed with the summit of the Azerbaijani, Armenian
and Russian presidents in Kazan, US State Department spokeswoman
Victoria Nuland said, Trend reports.

The presidents failed to agree on the basic principles. Nonetheless,
they noted in a joint declaration that they had improved understanding
on a set of issues and agreed to continue work on the basic principles
and meet in the future.

The trilateral summit was concluded in Kazan on Friday. The sides did
not come to an agreement on the basic principles of settling the
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
