Russian and Azerbaijani Interior Ministries sign cooperation deal

Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev have signed a cooperation deal at a meeting
in Baku, Trend reports.
The document will contribute to a legal basis for cooperation and
improve its efficiency. The ministries discussed priority challenges,
threats and the risks of international terrorism, extremism,
transnational crime, drug-trafficking, human-trafficking, uncontrolled
migration and violations in the hi-tech sphere.
Special attention was paid to public order and prevention of border violations.
The sides underlined the need for exchange of information, its
analysis and implementation. They highlighted violations in transport
and the energy transport infrastructure.
The Russian interior minister visited the Honorary Alley and the Tomb
of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Baku. He laid flowers at the
grave. He commemorated the well-known ophthalmologist Zarifa Hanum
Aliyeva and laid flowers at her grave.
