US candidate for president speaks about counter-measures against Russia in South Caucasus

US representative to the UN John Bolton, a candidate for president,
says that Washington needs to pay more attention to the South Caucasus
and that the US government must not allow Russian influence in the
region to spread, Rosbalt reports.

He recalled Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s declaration that
the collapse of the Soviet Union had been the greatest geopolitical
catastrophe of the 20th century.
