Yerevan and Tehran to start cooperation

Today, Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan discussed with Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Abbas Badakhshan Zohuri the issues of cooperation between the two capitals, the Yerevan administration's press service reported.

A cooperation agreement will be signed between Yerevan and Tehran soon, Sargsyan said after the meeting, stressing that there is also great potential for expanding cooperation between the capital's municipality and the Iranian embassy, ​​Sputnik Armenia reports.

The spheres of culture, traffic management, landscaping and a number of others have been named as promising areas of cooperation, Yerevan Mayor said after the meeting.
