US pays Roscomos in rubles

The head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, said that the American company Axiom Space paid in rubles for the flight of NASA astronaut Mark Vande Hay on the Soyuz spacecraft.

"We received payment directly from Axiom, which acted as an intermediary in organizing this mission ... Of course, we agreed that we only accept rubles," Interfax quotes Rogozin as saying.

He noted that Americans were late with the payment for a month, but "the funds came in full."
