Saudi Arabia will not withdraw troops from Bahrain

Saudi military troops, who are present in Bahrain, are going to relocate their units, but an overall withdrawal of the groups is not planned,  RIA Novosti reports.

Military presence of the Gulf Cooperative Council Peninsula shield was launched in Bahrain in March 2011. The reason was Shia opposition riots in the country. On Tuesday Reuters reported that Saudi Arabia is ready to withdraw its troops from Bahrain.
