China to send humanitarian aid to Afghanistan

Beijing will provide earthquake-hit Afghanistan with humanitarian aid, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said.

It is noted that China will send aid to Afghanistan in the amount of 50 mln yuan. The aid includes tents, blankets, cots and other items that will be donated to the victims.

Wang Wenbin added that the first batch of humanitarian aid will be sent by plane on June 27.
