Daniil Medvedev to play in Nur-Sultan

The current world tennis champion Russian Daniil Medvedev will take part in the ATP 250 Astana Open tennis event in Nur-Sultan.

"I am very happy to participate in the Astana Open tournament this year. Many great players have come to this wonderful city before me, and I am looking forward to the start of the tournament," the press service of the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation quotes the athlete as saying.

Vice-president of the organization Yuri Polsky called it a tradition that "the best players in the world come to Kazakhstan."
