Pentagon to welcome Russia-Ukraine negotiations

The US will welcome Russia’s decision to sit down at the negotiating table with Ukraine, a senior Pentagon official said.

He stressed that the Russian Federation can do it any time it wants.

"This would be a positive step," RIA Novosti quotes the Pentagon representative as saying.
