Uzbekistan resumes bus service with Russia

From Monday, July 18, Uzbekistan is resuming bus service with Russian cities. It was interrupted two years ago due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the press service of the country's Ministry of Transport reports.

"From July 18, 2022, regular bus service with Moscow, Kazan and St. Petersburg of the Russian Federation will be resumed", the message on the Ministry of Transport's Telegram channel says, RIA Novosti reports.

Routes from Tashkent to Moscow will be operated on Mondays and Thursdays. As for the routes from Tashkent to Kazan, they will be on Tuesdays and Fridays, while Tashkent - St. Petersburg routes will be operated on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Tickets will cost from 800,000 soums ($73).
