Khamenei warns Erdoğan against military operation in Syria

Today, the spiritual leader and leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, during the talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, warned Ankara against launching a military operation in northern Syria.

"This idea will definitely harm both Syria and Turkey, as well as the entire region", Khamenei said, Iranian news agency IRNA cited his words.

"Syrian issues should be resolved through dialogue, and Russia, Iran and Turkey should solve this problem through negotiations", the spiritual leader of Iran said.

Let us remind you that earlier Erdoğan said that the Turkish Armed Forces were planning to conduct a new cross-border operation in northern Syria - in Tel Rifaat and Manbij, after that it would be conducted in Ain al-Arab and Ain Issa.
