Atomic Energy Organization of Iran: Tehran does not need a nuclear bomb

The Iranian side does not need nuclear weapons, so Tehran does not intend to move towards building a nuclear bomb, Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi said on Tuesday.

"Iran has such a strategic capabilities that it does not need a nuclear bomb and will not move in that direction", he said.

Further, Kamalvandi noted that the Iranian side will continue to enrich uranium in order to meet the country's needs.
