Pyatigorsk to receive 770 million rubles for modernization of healthcare

Pyatigorsk will receive 770 million rubles from the federal budget to
modernize healthcare in 2011-2012, Yuga.ru reports.


The city plans reconstruction of city hospital N2, a children's clinic
at Alleyva Stroiteley Street and the surgical building of the Central
City Hospital. 110 million rubles will be spent on the projects.


Over 300 million will be spent on the reconstruction and purchase of
medical equipment, Pyatigorsk's deputy leader Margarita Vakhova said.


The Pyatigorsk maternity hospital will also be modernized. It will
have a section for prematurely-born children. Pyatigorsk plans to
implement electronic documentation of medical centers in 2 years.
