Number of COVID-19 cases in Russia reaches 20,000

Over the past 24 hours, 19,974 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Russia. This is the first time since early April when such a high  incidence was registered.

In Moscow, there are 5,997 new cases, in St. Petersburg - 2,303, in the Moscow region - 2,072. In the Krasnodar Territory - 524, in the Stavropol Territory - 200, in  Crimea - 178, in Dagestan - 65, in Kabardino-Balkaria - 70, in Adygea - 21, in Karachay-Cherkessia - 13, in Chechnya - 21, in Ingushetia - 6, in North Ossetia - 30.

The total number of infected people in Russia reached 18,692,396.
