Tourist rescue operation continues in Georgia

Georgian rescuers continue to search for four tourists stuck in Mount Tetnuldi. Earlier, they managed to find another two tourists - they were taken by helicopter to the Mestia hospital.

As for the four remaining tourists, according to the Georgian Emergency Management Service, one of them fell into a crack, and the other three continue on their way, but there is no connection with them.

The distress signal was received on 1 August. A group of foreign tourists asked for help. Their route runs from Mount Tetnuldi to the peak of Gestola in the territory of the Russian Federation.
