Azerbaijan and Germany to establish joint trade chamber
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaGermany and Azerbaijan are establishing a joint trade chamber, spokesman of the German Federal Ministry for Economy and Technology Margit Steffel said at the 12th Azerbaijani-German economic forum, Trend reports.
Germany is also involved in 8 twinning projects, realized by the EU and Azerbaijan. It plans to be involved in three more.
Azerbaijani Minister for Economic Development Samir Valiyev said that the two states have 29 economic deals. Over 60 Azerbaijani specialists are involved in German trainings.
Germany provided 44 million euro for Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said that trade turnover between the two states reached $196.04 million in January-April.
German companies invested over $200 million in Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan and Germany signed a memorandum on establishment of an investment and trade working group in May.
The business forum was organized by the AZPROMO and DAWF.
