Kazakhstan is considering the possibility of creating external terminal networks in the ports of Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Kairbek Uskenbaev said at a government meeting.

"In order to strengthen the country's transit potential, taking into account the current geopolitical situation, we are planning to work out a Concept for the Development of the Transport and Logistics Potential of Kazakhstan until 2030, implement projects for the construction and modernization of transport infrastructure, ensure the development of checkpoints on the state border with neighbouring states and upgrade the rolling stock, taking into account the priority use of domestic products," the minister said, Trend reports.
