Opening the festival, Saadat Kadyrova, director of the AR trade and exhibition center at VDNKh, congratulated all those who came on the Day of Moscow. "Today you will have a very rich, interesting program. There will be Azerbaijani national dances, Emil Kadyrov will sing for you. There will be many master classes on decorating Azerbaijani sweets, as well as master classes from the Academy of Sergei Andriyaka, it will be possible for children to participate and draw", she said.
"Azerbaijan and Russia are connected by very strong historical ties. Our joint history goes deep into the past. Today, our relations are at a very high level. I would like to take this opportunity to say that Azerbaijanis feel at home in Russia, and those Russians who come to Azerbaijan are our welcome guests. Happy holidays to you, dear Muscovites! All the best to you", Saadat Kadyrova wished.
Muscovites and Moscow's guests were able to enjoy Azerbaijani dances, a show with the traditional serving of Azerbaijani shah pilaf (royal pilaf), attend master classes.
The presentation of the film "Cultural Bridges: Russia - Azerbaijan" was held in the "Model of Moscow" pavilion.
