Aviation factory to open in Karachay-Cherkessia

Karachay-Cherkessia plans to open a high-tech aviation facility and a
modern technopark, ITAR-TASS reports.

Leader of Karachay-Cherkessia Rashid Temrezov proposed Interavia to
open a technopark. Interavia plans to open an aviation concern for
production and maintenance of aircraft. The company also plans a
science research center and an airfield.

The republic needs a training center for engineers, technicians and
pilots basing on methods of Russian air schools and the Moscow
Aviation Institute.

The realization of the program will create 450 jobs.
