New traffic interchange to be built in Baku

The Azeroilservice Company of the Azerbaijani Transport Ministry will
build an interchange on the crossing of the Streets of Ala Mustafayev,
Abdulvakhab Salamzade, Guseynbala Aliyev and Ziya Bunyatov (third
microdistrict). It will have a tunnel and a highway-over crossing, the
company's press service head Punkhan Mursalov said, Trend reports.

The tunnel will start at the subway station "20 January" and end on
the crossing of Azadlyg and Ziya Bunyatov Street. There will be a
total of six rows.

Tunnels will be built on the Streets of Aliyar Aliyev, Beyuk Shor,
Muzeffer Narimanov. An interchange on Ahmed Rajabli Street will be
reconstructed.

Head of Azeroilservice, Javid Gurbanov, said that reconstruction on
Ziya Bunyatova Street will end in late 2012 - mid-2013.

Certain buildings will be demolished as part of the reconstruction project.
