3 out of 54 Iranian airports are profitable

The director general of the company Iranian Airports, Mohsen Esmaili,
said that out of 54 airports only 3 are profitable. The speech was
made at a ceremony marking the launch of a project to develop and
modernize the Shahid Ashrafi airport in Kermanshah, which is one of
the most unprofitable airports in the country, with its income not
covering its operating costs, Iran News reports.

According Esmaili, only three airports in Tehran are profitable for the country.
