Azerbaijani team wins Heydar Aliyev’s Golden Grand Prix

The first awards were given today in the final round of the Golden
Grand Prix competition in memory of Heydar Aliyev, which took place in
Baku, 1news.az reports.

The championship took place in the Heydar Aliyev Sport and Concert
Complex. The first day was dedicated to wrestling in all seven weight
categories. The Azerbaijani team won 10 medals, including 5 golds, 2
silvers and 3 bronzes.

The team of Azerbaijan took 1st place among the 18 participating
countries, with 97 points. Second place went to Georgia (82 points)
and third to Turkey (61 points).
