Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz sends his condolences to Turkey after a bombing in Istanbul killed at least six people and wounded dozens.

“I would like to express my heartfelt condolences and send my prayers to affected families, to the Turkish nation and to the government of Turkiye,” Gantz said. “Israel’s defense establishment is prepared to provide any assistance required.”

Gantz adds that the attack “is a painful reminder that we must continue deepening defense cooperation against bloodthirsty terrorists who seek to harm innocent civilians.”
