Mashuk-2011 opens second session

The North Caucasus youth forum Mashuk-2011 is opening its second
session today. Thousands of young people from Stavropol Territory,
Dagestan, Chechnya, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria,
Karachay-Cherkessia and North Ossetia will study, interact, partake in
recreational activities and struggle for the realization of their
projects, Yuga.ru reports.


Journalists and bloggers, innovators and businesspeople have arrived
for studies. They will meet business, political and public officials.


Head of the department for internal policy of the office of the
plenipotentiary presidential envoy to the North Caucasian Federal
District Mikhail Markelov,  head of the Committee for Youth Affairs of
the Stavropol Territory Olga Kazakova and Lev Travnev, the Mayor of
Pyatigorsk, will attend the opening.


Celebrations were cancelled due to the tragedy of the Bulgaria river
cruiser. Participants at the forum will observe a minute's silence.


Mashuk-2011 opened in Pyatigorsk on July 4.
