Iran rejects diplomas of Ukrainian doctors
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Ukrainian embassy in Iran has confirmed information about Iran's non-recognition of diplomas of Ukrainian medical universities since January 1st, 2010, Iran News reports.
Due to the low qualification of doctors who studied at Ukrainian universities, including at the famous Bogolomets National Medical University, and the high rate of corruption there, Iran doesn’t recognize the diplomas of medical universities of Ukraine and doesn’t give health care licenses to Iranian citizens who studied in Ukraine.
Ukraine is not the only country from which medical diplomas are not recognized by Iran.
The same decision was made toward Armenian diplomas, for example, as its education program differs from Iran's by more than 20%.
