Turkey to build airport in the sea

Turkey plans to build its first maritime airport, TRT reports.

An airport, which will be the second maritime airport in the world, is to be built between the Ordu and Giresun regions. The documents on the construction have been signed. The airport will be named Or-Gi

The runway will be 3 kilometres long.

The airport will be opened in 2014. The project is set to cost about $150 million.
