Armenia joins Intergovernmental Organisation for International Carriage by Rail

Armenia became a full member of the Intergovernmental Organisation for International Carriage by Rail, giving it the right to vote at all sessions of the bodies and working groups of the organization, News Armenia reports.

Yerevan signed up to the Convention on International Carriage by Rail on April 1st, 2011.

The organization was established in 1985 to provide complex development, improvement and simplification of international rail traffic.
