Saakashvili participates in feast day liturgy in Georgia’s main cathedral

Georgian president Mikhail Saakashvili is visiting the Svetitskhoveli patriarchate cathedral today. He met with the Catholicos-Patriarch of All-Georgia, Ilya II,  Georgia Online reports.

Many people have gathered there today for the holiday of Svetitskhoveli .

Because of the presidential visit police forces have been reinforced on the streets near the cathedral.
