The Head Prosecution Service of Georgia has urged the Tbilisi City Court to make the trials into the cases of photo journalists accused of spying open to the public, apart from those parts which are due to consider materials containing state secrets,  News Georgia reports.

The Georgian counter-espionage services arrested four photographers on Tuesday. They include Zurab Kurtsikidze, a member of EPA, Irakly Gedenidze, a photographer of the president's press service, Natiya Gedenidze, his wife, and Georgy Abdaladze, a photographer working for the Georgian Interior Ministry.
