Pension theft case in Armenia

The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia has initiated a criminal
case into violations in the pension system of the Ministry for Labour
and Social Affairs, News Armenia reports.

The Finance Ministry presented evidence of pension thefts by
functionaries in 2009-2010.

The Directorate for Protection of State Interests of the Prosecutor
General's Office initiated a case on similar thefts in Yerevan in May
2011.
