Free economic zone to be established near Armenia's Zvartnots airport

 

The Armenian Ministry of the Economy and Corporation America, the concessionaire of Armenia’s international Zvartnots airport, on Thursday signed an agreement to establish a free economic zone near the airport, ARKA news agency reports.

The document was signed by Minister of the Economy, Tigran Davtyan, and a representative of Corporation America, the chief executive officer of the company Armenia - International Airports, Marcelo Wende.

According to Davtyan, this document designates the next steps that are planned for the final establishment of a free economic zone near Zvartnots.
