Belarussian and Armenian Academies of Science sign cooperation treaty

An agreement of cooperation between the Armenian and Belarussian
Academies of Science has been signed on Monday, reports
Novosti-Armenia.
"Being aware of the level of research in the scientific institutions
of Belarus in the spheres of information and space technology, I am
absolutely sure that joint research in these spheres can be really
successful. We are also interested in the Belarussian experience in
the sphere of commercialization of science," said the president of the
Armenian Academy of Science.
The Belarussian side pointed out that the agreement will promote
cooperation in the practical research work of the two institutions.
The chairman of the Belarussian Academy of Science, Mikhail
Myasnikovich, also said that meetings with Armenian President Serzh
Sargsyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sarkisyan and the Catholicos of all
Armenia are scheduled during the visit.
The Belarussian representative was awarded a medal for his
contribution to Belarussian-Armenian relations.
