Car assembly factory may be established in Dagestan

Today the head of Dagestan, Magomedov Magomedsalam, held several
meetings with members of the government of the Russian Federation and
the leadership of banking institutions in Moscow, RIA Dagestan
reports, citing the presidential press service of Dagestan.

Magomedov met with Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin in order to
discuss issues of state support of the real economy of the country. In
particular, the participants of the meeting touched upon such
questions as the implementation of a project to launch a car assembly
production - assembly of light trucks with high degree of localization
on the basis of the"Aviaagregat" company, as well as the increase in
volume of defense contracts for industrial enterprises and enhancement
of development of mineral resources of Dagestan.
