Islamic Development Bank interested in developing projects in Shusha
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan held a meeting with the president of the Islamic Development Bank. During the talks, issues of cooperation and restoration of the liberated Azerbaijani territories were discussed.
Azerbaijan and the Islamic Development Bank have discussed the development of new cooperation platforms, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said.
"During the meeting with Chairman of the Bank H.E. Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser we have discussed the current state of the bilateral relations, restoration of our liberated territories, implementation of the joint projects, as well as development of new cooperation platforms," the minister wrote.
Chairman of Islamic Development Bank Group Muhammad Al Jasser has also paid a visit to Azerbaijan's liberated territories. The chairman once again stressed the IsDB's commitment to support Azerbaijan's economic development, in particular, with the reconstruction in Karabakh, connectivity and digital transformation projects, as well as in renewable energy sector.
Al Jasser reaffirmed that IsDB is eager to finance new infrastructure projects and provide necessary technical assistance. He stressed that the Islamic Development Bank is interested in the projects underway in Shusha.
