Moderate earthquakes hit Turkey and Afghanistan
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaA magnitude 4.4 earthquake hit central Turkey on Sunday, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The epicenter was located 21 kilometers southwest of the city of Goksun with a population of more than 50,000.
In addition, a magnitude 5.1 earthquake was registered in Afghanistan on Sunday.
The epicenter was located at a depth of 152 kilometers some 190 kilometers east of the city of Kunduz with a population of more than 161,000.
No casualties or damage were reported in either case.
