OSCE, EU discuss cooperation prospects

The foreign ministries of Lithuania, Kazakhstan and Ireland, representing the chair countries of the OSCE in 2011, 2010 and 2012 correspondingly, and the European Union's foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton discussed cooperation within the OSCE and the EU on July 18th in Brussels, Trend reports.

The OSCE and the EU said they share common values and visions.

The ministries and Ashton also discussed the preparation for the session of the OSCE Ministers Council, which will take place on December 6-7 in Vilnius.
