Today, Xi Jinping's visit was confirmed in Beijing. The Chinese Foreign Ministry informs that this will be a friendship visit, it will strengthen the cooperation between the two countries and become a new impetus in relations between Russia and China. Wang Wenbin, the ministry's spokesman, said the upcoming visit would help to "promote strategic cooperation and practical interaction between Russia and China".
It is especially emphasized that the negotiations will not be aimed against third countries and will be held on the basis of the non-confrontation principles.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Xi Jinping's spring trip to Russia would be the central event in relations between Russia and China in 2023.
